Art blog 'The Spiraling' just published an article about Zip.

What's up guys? I'm an idiot.
So I accidentally left out an entire page from issue 11.
It gets even more embarrassing: remember this panel?
The one I put a lot of work into making look particularly dramatic? Well, that wasn't just so that I could be all fancy for no reason. It was supposed to follow some important dialog that would make the moment even more dramatic given the context of the previous page... but that context all hinged on me not forgetting to add said page in the first place.
Click here to read the missing page from issue 11.
Then also maybe forget that you already read pages 11, 12, 13 and 14 so that everything works as I originally intended before the moment I screwed everything up by not remembering to copy-paste the URL of one image file.
Specifically, we have some!
Just over a year ago, I went to go see The Amazing Spider-Man 2 with an old friend.
Being the eccentric that I am, I showed up in cosplay. My friend was both amused and embarrassed by this. Like he told me, he liked to think that he was the kind of person that didn’t mind what people did and wouldn’t get self-conscious that he was hanging out with someone a bit odd, but me showing up dressed as a superhero to see a movie had kind of proven that wrong.
A month later, my sister called to tell me my friend had died. The last time he ever saw me, I was dressed head to foot as Spider-Man, and one of the last things he ever said to me was that he was really looking forward to seeing the Avengers sequel.
So no new pages this week, sorry.
PS: pay no attention to the fact that this delay comes right after 4/20, and instead divert your attention to this awesome Youtube video of Josh Keaton reading Spider-Man memes:
Sigh... I miss the Spectacular Spider-Man animated series...
After a very long time looking for more permanent accommodation, I've found something. If you guessed that's the reason that this week's pages were a few days late, you'd be right.
This also means that we might be looking at a similar situation for next week's pages, although I hope not. The reason being that I didn't have a lot of notice to move in after I found out I'd got the place, and so I'll be without internet for a few days.
I'm planning on using a library or an internet cafe or something to get the pages up on time, but that might fall through for whatever reason.
The comic's upload day is still Wednesday. I'm just bad at organizing things.
Remember that Kickstarter campaign I posted about a while ago? The one that I illustrated for? Well, it was successfully funded!
I recently received my copy in the post. And by recently, I mean that it came like, weeks ago, and I just forgot to say anything.
Let the meta data of this image file stand as evidence that I am a doofus.
GREAT MARKETING, AMIRITE?
Finally, right? It's here! It's here! And man am I excited. Like I said before, this is going to be a good one.
Read it now.
Okay, so lots of Zip #10 has been completed. Zip #9 is complete. So on Wednesday, January 21st, I'll be releasing the last few pages of Zip #9, then I'll be skipping a week, and Zip #10 starts the week after that, on Wednesday again. The reason for that is, is that this way, I'll be able to start #10 at the beginning of February. As you might have guessed, from now on, Wednesday is our new upload day.
